This Is A Memorial Site For My Amazing Gran,Noreen.She Sadly Passed Away Due To A Stroke In April
2005, Aged 71.
She Lived In Paisley All Of Her Life.She Fell In Love With Frank McArdle And Had 4 Daughters,8
Grandkids and 6 Great-Grandkids.
My Gran Meant The Absolute World To Me.I've Never Met Someone So Special,She Was There For Me
Through Everything,Good And Bad.
I Lived With Her For A Year Before She Died.I helped Look After Her As She Was Having Small Strokes
And Also Had Dementia.Sadly I wasn't There When She Died.
My Heart Is Bursting With Love For Her And I Miss Her So Much,It Hurts.
She's Now My Angel..

Sorry i havent been on here in a while.You will know whats happening just now,I had a pretty good year now things are 1000 times worse.Gran i dont know what to do,ive never been so close to suicide in my life.I'm trying to keep going everyday,but what for???
I want to be with you n gerri so much,its just the actual thing of dying im worried about.Not doing it but like,The past few weeks ive took 2 overdoses and theyve been serious attempts more serious than the countless ones before,i nearly never made it! I was nearly with yoo,i wish you could have came for me gran,i was so upset when i woke up and realised i was still alive.Now mums taken all my tablets out of my house and my razors,i cant do anything.I just want to die.I'm seein the psych tomorrow,this is my last chance Gran,if she doesnt do something to help tomorrow its over,i cant do it anymore,I was set on doing it tonight but i was asked to wait another day,why prolong it though?? i know there's nothin she can do,she's the nicest psych ive ever seen and she has genuinely tried to help me but no-one can this time im too far gone!! The sea seems to illustrate pain and sorrow so well
It comes in and goes out
For a while it is there, overwhelming, covering everything
Then slowly the tide turns and it withdraws
For a while we can see the beauty of the shells, the seaweed
We can rejoice in the patterns in the sand
We can feel the corrugated ripples under our feet
Alive to what is around, and beyond
But then the tide turns and again it is all washed away, all overwhelmed
We feel like the crashing of the waves on rocks
Raw and out of control
Full of anger and rage
Battered and bruised
Tossed about like flotsam floating wherever we are thrown
There are so many questions. Why now? Why her?
But no answers
Then the sea calms and gently the waves lap the rocks
We are soothed and the inner turmoil is calmed
In time we can learn to move up the beach as the tide comes in
Out of its reach
Not to be overwhelmed
The pain is still there, but in control
We can recognise the pain
Revisiting the sadness
Acknowledging how much the person is missed
We learn to turn away and look to the future
Knowing the person will always be part of us
Always loved and always remembered.

Let them go, but not completely.
